DETAILING
Our steel detailers have decades of expertise and we understand that communication is essential to delivering a professional service.
We specialise in low rise residential and “townhouse” style detailing and provide a comprehensive materials list including brackets, fasteners etc, 3D modelling, and PDF shop drawings of each frame, stuss and floor component.
With over 30 years international experience in the manufacture of light gauge steel framing we can identify potential problem areas prior to manufacture and understand the need for practical design to ensure fast and accurate manufacture and erection.
ENGINEERING
The Prosteel engineering division was formed to provide specialised services to the light gauge steel manufacturing industry. Our engineers have extensive experience in LGS that is often not available through traditional engineering companies and work closely with our steel detailers to provide a service catering to their specific needs.
We specialise in:
Framing, trusses and floor systems for residential and light commercial construction
Sub-floor design for piers, slabs and footings
State pre-manufacture engineer certifications.
ON-SITE INSPECTION
After frame erection, we will carry out an inspection ensuring that construction has been completed in accordance with the engineer’s design including tie down bolts, bracing and truss brackets. If a problem is identified, we advise the builder immediately suggesting a solution to avoid any un-necessary delays. We aim to have completed post inspection documentation to the builder within 5 working days.
